ASU HEALTH AND DENTAL PLAN

Effective every September 1st, you are automatically enrolled in the Acadia Students' Union Health & Dental Plans. The fee is automatically added to your student account each year you attend Acadia.

If you already have health/dental coverage, you can opt out of the ASU plan before September 30, 2014 by visiting studentbenefits.ca with proof of alternative coverage or by visiting Cindy MacDonald, the ASU Health Plan Administrator (610 OldSUB) to sign a waiver.

For more information, contact Cindy at 902-585-2167 or asuhealthplan@acadiau.ca.

What am I covered for?

Benefits may include full or partial coverage of prescription drugs, naturopathy, masseurs, physiotherapists, psychologists, chiropractors, hearing care, eye exams, vision care, ambulance costs, accidental dental, and death and dismemberment. Benefits vary for international students and conditions may apply.

You can find the full coverage booklet with details of your coverage and how to file claims at studentbenefits.ca as well as print your benefit card, add dependents, and avoid the "blackout period" in autumn.
